Safety and comfort for our residents is core to our values at Happy Hounds. All units are heated in the cooler months and cool in the summer. We have two large secure paddocks for the dogs to relax and exercise four times a day. Chino and Kiera (seen in the photo above) like to play out in the sun before relaxing under the shade of a mature walnut tree.
Relaxing means cuddle time. We don’t believe that dogs should go without affection just because they are away from their families.
Set in eight hectares of peaceful undulating French countryside.
Purpose built secure outdoor runs complement a large welcoming indoor area.
All indoor accommodation contains an elevated platform (seen here) which allow dogs to sleep off the ground on comfy sheepskin rugs. Our aim is to give accommodation of a very high standard. Gentle music is played to help our resident relax.
All outside runs face the exercise paddocks so our residents can watch the world go by.
Some owners request that their dogs be socialised. Many of our regulars are familiar with each other and so like to play side by side. This would only be accommodated with the friendliest of dogs and at the owner’s specific request.
